What is Snowgum Country? Well....Snowgum I reckon could be described as a funky mix of country and western roots wearin' electronic and deep house boots...its honky tonk g-house and break beats meets alt country at an all night party somewhere in a barn in the middle of nowhere with a gas generator keeping the beats alive or maybe a late nite booming jam in a packed nameless warehouse waiting for the drop and a slide guitar to bring you home or take you to the next level.

  Starting out, the idea of doing a dj / band touring thing outside of the studio was the very last thing on my mind. All the musicians I know -well ...we all have day jobs ...but eventually after a number of local gigs, we've come to the realisation that the only way for us to evolve this project is to hit the road once in a while. Over the next few years years the plan is to showcase all the tracks we've worked on @ snowgum studios — and hopefully with an occasional festival appearance in some towns and locales across Australia and maybe even a few gigs overseas. Travel and touring I'm sure will generate lots of new material for the next album. I am sure time on the road will prove to be crucial in shaping the snowgum sound.

  We’re packing up the gear for an extended tour in support of all of our tracks. The set list will prominently feature the most recent stuff from various releases but will also dive into a few new and experimental tracks that you'll see in some future releases. We will put up a tour page soon for when we’ll be playing near you.
